Eve Schofield- RSQP, Manager and Qualified Dispensing Technician

Eve manages the premises and its staff on a daily basis. Eve is also a qualified dispensing technician who has been working in her fathers pharmacy since the age of 16 and has accumulated several qualifications whilst working there. This has been invaluable experience for Eve giving her a great understanding of legislation in regards to the use and supply of a varied range of medication including;

How to work out calculations for quantities to supply, advise on dosage according to manufacturer guidelines, giving advice on contraindications and explaining any information on how to use the products correctly. As there are many pharmacies supplying POM-VPS products the pharmacy where Eve works would be eligible to do the same. Eve and her father felt that to do this in the most efficient way possibly Eve should enrol onto an SQP course and sit the relevant exams to be able to supply products safely and correctly to animal owners and those working with animals, Eve completed the necessary training and passed the exams in the autumn of 2012.  Then Eve and her father Joseph opened a separate premises as a subsidiary of Flagg Court Pharmacy ltd called The Animal Medicine Chest. Being an R-SQP means she is able to advise on Equine, Companion, Avian and Farm Animal Health Care. Eve's vast wealth of animal experience comes from years of experience with various animals and is more than happy to advise her clients. Eve is keen, and continues to extend her present knowledge for the benefit of her clients including the completion of a Canine and Equine First Aid Course.  Eve is also trained in Dodson & Horrell, Baileys, Spillers, Dengie, Allen & Page and Simple Systems horse feeds as well as completing a course with the famous Edinburgh University on Equine Nutrition, giving her the ability to advise horse owners on suitable feeds for their particular horse and any required dietary and nutritional needs.

Eve's own animals include Ryan a 14.3hh coloured cob and is 13 years old, who she enjoys hacking out and taking part in pleasure rides and Cross Country days with and Lacey a 6 year old Welsh D mare who is just learning the ropes of how to be a horse and experiencing her ridden career. Eve also has two Lurchers called Jake and Joey as well as a terrier named Boris, all of which are extremely active pets.

Nadia spends most of her spare time active with her animals meeting up with other friends who have the same interest going on trips to the beach and pleasure rides.

Nadia sat her SQP exams in 2016 and by December had successfully passed all her exams for equine and companion animals. Nadia knows all about how to keep your animals healthy and happy inside and out and is very friendly to chat to with any advice required on these subjects for your own pet(s).
